Farmers and ag service providers are invited to join the Maryland Department of Agriculture, NRCS, Northeast SARE, University of Maryland Extension, Future Harvest, the Maryland Soybean Board, and MAC to learn about the latest research on planting green techniques and slug control methods.
Activities at this all-day workshop will include:
- Planting green demonstration
- Biomass and root sampling activities
- Soil pit investigation
- Slug scouting and control methods
- Single species and mixes, sandy and clayey soils
Coffee, a light breakfast, and lunch are included. Registration is required.
