For the first time in a while, much of the area is getting what feels like actual winter. That’s good news for cover crops like tillage radishes that need several nights of temperatures below 25 to winter kill. But, it creates new layers of effort for livestock producers and year-round vegetable growers. We are grateful for all the ways our farmers steward the land to grow the foods that feed us.
